Bed bugs are more likely to feed on pet owners than pets, but any port in a storm works for bed bugs. Bed bugs are not know to transmit any diseases through their bites, but the bites themselves are problematic. If there are hundreds of bed bugs feeding on one pet, the pet's blood loss will be considerable.
